Wetland to Fenland Vintage Tour.

A real celebration of the unique fenland landscape, this three in one tour explores the relationship of water in our local landscape, in our 1973 Bedford VAL coach.

We first have a private visit at the Prickwillow Museum. Which tells the story of the drainage of the Fens, the history of the local area, and those doughty individuals who ran the drainage pumps in remote locations, showcasing some of the region's finest examples of restored diesel engines.

Then on to the Lamb and Flag, which has served hearty fare on the edge of the Wash since 1794 for a warming meal.

We then enjoy the winter wild swan feed at Welney Wetland Centre - one of the UK’s best wildlife experiences, from a centrally heated hide. This migratory miracle sees thousands of wild swans flock to the wetlands to over winter. Truly a spectacle for the nature lovers.
